Play Dough Toy Design
Our main aim of this play dough toy design was to deliver abstract character based play sets that belong to farm animals and farm toys. The project started with client ideas shared in the form of 2D concepts with colour details.
CAD designs were done to visualise the 2D concepts. Play dough play sets have to work with standard play dough to enable children to build figurines out of book mould.
Characters of the toy play dough toy design are iterated several times before we conclude the final designs.
After the characters were build, the cross functional team evaluated the commercials of the product and decided to drop certain elements in the play list. Now, the characters were used to build the book moulds.
The CAD was taken up for tooling. Below, the approved parts after refinement from several cross functional teams.
